Warranty Information – Backed by XPEL, Installed by Film Bros

Thank you for choosing Film Bros (“we,” “our,” “us”). We deliver expert installation of XPEL-branded protection films and stand behind every installation with long-term support and clarity. Please read the following warranty information carefully.

Product Manufacturer Warranty

Warranty Coverage

The Company expressly warrants to the original owner that, for the applicable warranty period from the date of initial installation, the product will be free from defects such as yellowing, cracking, blistering, peeling, delaminating, discoloration, or fading (as applicable to the product). This warranty applies only to products that have been professionally installed in the manner recommended by the Company.

Replacement & Transfer Terms

If the Company determines that the product has failed due solely to a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, XPEL will, at its option, either replace the product or refund the cost of the product, subject to the limitations and exclusions stated in the full Terms & Conditions. Any replacement film is covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period—no new warranty period will be created.

Warranty Exclusions

The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover any damage, defects, or failures caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, accidents, external impacts, lack of maintenance or cleaning with unsuitable chemicals, surface damage or contamination, or installation performed by non-authorized or non-professional installers.

Installation Warranty (Film Bros)

In addition to the manufacturer’s warranty, Film Bros provides the following installation warranty:
Every installation comes with a 35-year warranty against bubbling, fading, yellowing, or peeling. This installation warranty applies to the installation work performed by Film Bros, subject to normal use and proper care of the film as installed.

Care & Maintenance

To preserve your coverage under both the manufacturer’s and installation warranties, we recommend that you follow the care and maintenance instructions provided at the time of installation. Failure to maintain the film properly, or to abide by the manufacturer’s instructions regarding cleaning, inspection and surface condition, may void warranty coverage.

Please retain your original receipt of installation, registration confirmation, and any maintenance records.

Limitations & Exclusions

Please note that both the manufacturer’s warranty and Film Bros’ installation warranty are subject to exclusions, including but not limited to:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accident, alteration, cleaning with improper chemicals, or external surface damage.

  • Film failure due to underlying surface condition or improper preparation.

  • Normal wear and tear, scratching, abrasion, stone-chip damage, etc., unless caused by a manufacturing defect or installation fault.

  • Any condition not expressly covered in the full Terms & Conditions.
    Neither Film Bros nor the manufacturer shall be liable for incidental or consequential damages, loss of use, lost time or other damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product or installation.
